INJECTION MOLDED PARTS FOR UAV MANUFACTURE

Our customer came to us with a concern that custom washers involved in UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) construction could not be sourced cost effectively, given their specific quantity and size requirements.

Afaridan translated the washer and bushing designs into engineering drawings and 3D CAD models. From here, we designed a tool which incorporated the different sized parts into a single mold.
The tool was then built and used in our in-house injection molding facilities, providing a cost effective solution for the customer.
