3D Printed Core-Sample Drill Project
Completed December 2021
Our customer came to Afaridan Plastics with an open-source drill design. Using the design as a starting point, we modelled and adapted the drill to suit our client's needs.
Once the design was completed, we 3D printed the plastic components, machined the alignment tube and drive spigot, and hardened the stainless cutter teeth.
Of course, to finish the project, we assembled and delivered the drill to our happy customer.
